Application Range
The PowerStrip 9500 RX programmable cut & strip machine processes micro-coaxial and coaxial cables with center conductors as small as 36 AWG and most wire and cable types up to 6.5 mm (0.26”) O.D. Due to the universal rotary incision unit and V-type cutting blades, the PowerStrip 9500 RX is able to process the entire range of cable types and diameters without any blade changes. Once the values for a particular cable and job are stored in memory, they can be retrieved in seconds. After pressing the “Start” key, the cable is centered and clamped with a forcecontrolled centering system. In a first processing step the blades execute the rotary incisions according to the programmed diameter and length position values. As soon as all the required incisions are completed, the cable is transported to the cutter head where it is cut and the various layers are stripped from both cable ends.
