Overview
The ToolingShuttle 30 combines the crimp applicator (tooling), terminal reel and paper winder into one mobile quick-change unit for CrimpCenter 3-series fully automatic crimping machines. The ToolingShuttle 30 allows the operator to exchange all three elements simultaneously which significantly reduces changeover time.

Application Range
The ToolingShuttle 30 can be prepared for the next job at an external workstation while the machine is producing thereby minimizing machine downtime . Once in position the applicator is quickly moved from the ToolingShuttle 30 and secured into the crimping station. A magnetic ram holder fixes the ram of the applicator in top position for easier insertion of the applicator into the press and to protect the applicator tooling when it is not in use. The ToolingShuttle 30 accepts most standard crimping tools (mini-style applicators), so existing applicators can be easily integrated.
