Overview
The HeavyCrimper crimp applicators are specially designed for processing larger cable cross sections ranging from 16 - 50 mm² (5 - 1/0 AWG) in combination with the UniCrimp series crimping machines. They can be used on fully automatic crimping machines as well as on benchtop crimping presses.

Application Range
The HeavyCrimper crimp applicators are designed for heavy duty crimp applications for cross sections ranging from 16 – 50 mm² (5 – 1/0 AWG). The HeavyCrimper PS and PR are for use with side and end feed, banded terminals. The terminal strip feeding is actuated by an integrated pneumatic valve. The HeavyCrimper XL is used for loose-piece crimping applications. On all versions, crimp height can be adjusted in 0.02 mm (0.0008”) increments. The HeavyCrimper PR and PS require a standard 3-point clamping base and T-ram mounting system. The HeavyCrimper XL requires a 2-point clamping base and T-ram mounting system.
